Primary Use: Joining face frames, fillers, and internal braces
- Pan head fits narrow pocket jigs
- Strong, discreet joinery for trim components
- Type 17 point prevents splitting, allows for quicker starting, and eliminates the need for a pilot hole
- Extra Long Type 17 Point features a longer cutting tip that eases starting in very hard woods like hickory and ipe, helping prevent splitting where a standard Type 17 point may not be sufficient and offering a cost‑effective upgrade for dense materials
Pro Tip:
Use pan head pocket screws with narrow-channel jigs or when working with hardwood fillers and fascia—prevents binding and stripping.
