However, our company history dates back to the 1940s and encompasses that of three companies - Interstate Supply Company, Case Supply and AMC Tile Supply. In the early 1990s, the company changed its product mix to ceramic/ porcelain tile, stone tile, laminate and hardware. Case Supply was acquired by Interstate in August 1999.

AMC Tile Supply Company was founded (under the name Missouri Metal Trims, Inc.) in 1947 by Sidney Arnold. The company was based in St. Louis, Missouri and specialized in the distribution of aluminum extrusion products. The company later expanded to floor covering and eventually focused exclusively on this industry. AMC Tile Supply was acquired by Interstate in June 2002.
